Don’t Let Tech Overwhelm Win: 3 Launch Tools You Need
One of the best parts about creating new offers for your online business that there are so many tools out there that can help you bring your idea to life. The worst part about creating new offers for your online business? There are so many tools out there that can help you bring your idea to life.
Which tools do you need? Which ones are going to be easy to use? And which ones are going to cost you a small fortune that you (quite honestly) can’t afford right now? Launch tech and tools are often the biggest hurdle my clients face — and it can stop them from launching something I know will change their business and their customers’ lives.
I don’t want you to let launch tech overwhelm stop you from launching, so let’s dig into the offer launch tools you might actually need. Don’t worry, I’m only going over a few of my favorites.
The 3 main areas of launch tech
You don’t need to spend hours browsing through every fancy-schmancy launch tool out there. Instead, you need to search in 1 of these 3 areas: the platform, your email marketing, and analytics. Here’s how that all breaks down:
The platform tech
Hopefully this one's a no-brainer, but your offer needs to live somewhere! There are a lot of different platforms at varying price points with different feature sets, but if you’re creating a course, I love Kajabi*. This tool is my favorite if you want a strong all-in-one platform.
If you're really community-focused and want to create a membership, check out Mighty Networks*. This is a totally elevated experience from boring old Facebook groups (and takes payments, so you don’t need another tool for that!).
Of course, if you’re creating something like a digital download product or template, you might want to consider just a simple email opt-in, so let’s jump to that tech.

Email marketing tools
For me, email will always be Queen when it comes to marketing. Not only is this an easy way to let people know you have a program on sale, but it's the perfect way to communicate with people once they've joined — and give them a STELLAR onboarding experience.
You can also use email tools like Drip, Flodesk, ActiveCampaign, and ConvertKit to create landing pages for your digital downloads or free offers, making it easy to house things in one place if you’re not ready to create recurring paid offers.
Analytics
Data doesn’t sound sexy, and it’s something that people often wait too long to integrate into their tech stack. But don't be that person! Even the simplest set of analytics can show you what's performing and what isn't so you can start making smarter decisions. Make sure you have Google Analytics set up on your site, and check things like your Instagram Insights or Facebook Ads Manager.

Didn’t find tech that will make your launch (and life) easier?
This definitely isn't an exhaustive list of launch tech you can find out out there. But that’s intentional — because I want you to think through the type of tech you need before you look for the specific tool. I know that other tools may work better for others, so don’t just take what I’m saying here at face value. Look around yourself, ask your friends or biz besties, and shop for what works for your needs. Just make sure you know your tech needs gong into a launch.
